Made by Taylor · Visuals Work with me

Photographs that hold onto the moment.

Travel, adventure and fitness photography. Warm, colourful, alive. Based in Amsterdam, shot everywhere.

Selected Work · Travel & Adventure

The Acropolis catching the last warm light above Athens, Lycabettus Hill beyond, pines in the foreground.
A backlit stone path below the Acropolis, a lone walker heading into golden light. Leaning on the rail of a wooden gulet, deep blue Ionian Sea below.
Mid-air leap from the deck of a sailing boat into deep blue water.
Marble columns and hard shadow lines at the Acropolis.

Photography is how I hold onto the places that move me. From the sea, to the mountains, and everything in between.

“What stands out in Taylor’s work is his perspective. Whether shot by drone or camera, each frame tells a story of exploration.”

Boarding the gulet in Gaios harbour, framed dead centre by the bow. Lighting candles inside a dim Athens chapel, warm flame light.
A high five in the golden tussock above the Pacific, New Zealand.
Standing on Trolltunga with a flag, the fjord far below, Norway. A red door, cacti and hard afternoon light on a back street in Mallorca. A ray of golden light over Algarve cliffs, one small figure at the edge.
Rain on the cobbles of Santillana del Mar, one figure under a black umbrella. Walking up to the Basilica of Covadonga as mist rolls off the Asturian hills. Choosing pintxos under a ceiling of jamón, Donostia-San Sebastián.
A waterfall pouring into Milford Sound between dark fjord walls. Looking down through the trees to the beach outside Dubrovnik's old town.
The orange Hostal Poncebos wedged into the Cares Gorge, Asturias. The path into the Belogradchik fortress, Bulgaria. The striped arches and frescoes of Rila Monastery, Bulgaria.
Walking down into the marble bowl of the Panathenaic Stadium, Athens. Golden-hour giggles over a glass of wine on the harbourfront. A couple wrapped up in each other in front of the Parthenon.

Selected Work · Fitness & HYROX

I run, race HYROX and manage a gym. This world I shoot from the inside.

Head down over the sled, lanes running away behind, HYROX race floor.
Rowing under the arched glass roof while a teammate roars him home. Hauling the rope against a black wall, hard side light on a soaked shirt. Collapsed on the floor after the finish, laughing through it.
Sandbag lunges up the lane, a second athlete grinding behind. Running the lap with everything showing on his face. Clapping himself in through a foreground of blurred bodies.
Two athletes flexing and laughing under the finish board, times still climbing.

Personal Project

Personal Project: “Coastlines”

A visual study of coastal environments across Europe, focusing on colour, scale, and the relationship between land and water.

The coast has always felt like home. This one is ongoing.

A ringed green islet from above, boat passing, Azores. A lighthouse on the point from directly above, waves on the rocks, Azores.
The curved end of a breakwater from above, painted blocks and white water. Warm granite shelf meeting turquoise surf from above, one tiny figure on the rocks. Swimmers in a turquoise cove between the rocks, Sardinia.

Field Notes

The lookout, with my brothers

Humpridge Track, Southland · 2025

After five years away, I got home last summer. My brothers and I walked the Humpridge Track together, my first of New Zealand’s Great Walks.

This is the frame I keep coming back to: the two of them above the clouds as the light went down. Some of the best memories of my life.

About

I’m a New Zealand-born photographer living in Amsterdam. I’ve spent ten years carrying a camera through the places that move me: the sea, the mountains, and everything in between.

Photography is how I hold onto the moments that feel too good to forget. The look on someone’s face. The scale of a place you’re now dying to visit. My mum photographed families for a living. I think I inherited the instinct.

I shoot warm, colourful and alive. Stills, film and drone working as one kit, chasing natural moments, wide perspectives and the feeling of being properly inside a place. And because I run, race HYROX and manage a gym in Amsterdam, I shoot the fitness world from the inside.

Always keen for the next adventure.
